A pic of the clouds in the sky. It was quite peaceful.

I got bored driving home from the beach

Ritchie has arrived.

The sacred fire pit!

John by the barn. Sometimes I like the different picture settings

Up the hill behind the cottage

More up the hill

My beer... you can't expect me to climb a hill without some sort of energy drink can you?

Maggie wants to come too... she wants another piece of Shawn.

The view from the top

Lake Ansile is the body of water in the distance... home of a contestant in Canadian Idol.

Shawn though it would be funny to look like an explorer of old looking of from the top of the mountain as if surveying the land.

Shawn from another angle

Here it is. Shawn vs. Maggie Round 2! Ding! Ding! Shawn ran down the mountain in an attempt to beat the dog back to camp. Not only do dogs run faster than humans, but also they don't like it when someone gets a head start on them. So Maggie decided to grab onto Shawn's Pant leg. Go Maggie!

Shawn managed to get her off and then she goes right back at him in round three. I thought it was pretty bad when you're pant leg is attacked by a dog and your friends (including your wife) almost piss their pants laughing at you and still find time to take pictures rather than help :p

Fire!

Us around the fire

Marshmallow time

More Marshmallows

Shawn, me and John... C'mon you can't celebrate Canada day without the proper hat.

I didn't know dogs ate watermelon rinds... I didn't know I cared enough to take a picture

Me playing catch

Jonathan and Ritchie playing pitcher and catcher

Shawn vs. Hotdogs. Shawn couldn't get the hotdogs open... So he grabbed a giant sharp fork and used his leg/arm as bracing while leaning over... I asked him if he thought it was dangerous, he said no and continued on.

The last pic of our fun getaway. Shawn vs. baseball. The object was to hit as many homeruns over barn as possible. You had tennis balls lobbed into you until you made contact... you were allowed to make contact 6 times. In those 6 attempts you had to get as many homeruns as possible.

Back Home!
